New Texas license plates looik terrible. Like a color-blind toddler went crazy with crayons. There is literally no car color that doesn’t clash horribly… not even white.

I guess it could be worse… it could have been the pro-life license plates Rick Perry championed. Even if you are pro-life I feel like it might be a bad idea to have such sentiments blaring from your bumper… and if you aren’t pro-life it’s kind of an outrage that license plates have been politicized in this way. Best stick with the innocuous “support Texas arts” or “support Texas wildlife” options available.

Fun story about this shirt: I own this shirt, and I used to joke with my friends that if anyone were to ever recognize it as a Battlestar shirt, I would make out with them on the spot. It was never a serious claim, just a way of illustrating the point that I am very attracted to geeks. But then, one day, a guy in one of my classes said he liked my BSG shirt. I hooked up with him that night.
